Katrina Liu (Teaching and Learning) has been elected to serve as secretary of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Division K, Teaching & Teacher Education. Division K is the largest division in AERA, representing more than 5,000 members. It focuses on teaching and teacher education as fields of research, studying teacher recruitment, teacher learning and development, and classroom teaching from pre-service through professional induction to the in-service stages of teachers' careers. She will serve as secretary-elect from the end of the 2022 annual meeting and her two-year term (2023-25) as secretary will begin at the conclusion of the 2023 annual meeting. She also is elected to the AERA Special Interest Groups Executive Committee.  Her three-year term is 2022-25.
