Kathleen Lauckner (Public Policy and Leadership) welcomed the opportunity to present to the NEW Leadership Program participants during their 2019 summer session, hosted by the Women's Research Institute of Nevada. She discussed her own experiences running for the Nevada Assembly, serving on the Nevada Conservation League C3 board, and how important it is for these young women to pursue a career associated with politics and how they can become accomplished women leaders with the help of mentors in higher education and within our community.
