Katherine Rankin (Libraries) won the American Library Association’s (ALA) Map and Geospatial Information Round Table (MAGIRT) Honors Award this summer at the ALA conference in San Francisco. She was recognized primarily for event planning and a presentation she did at the ALA annual conference in Las Vegas last summer as well as for acting as the Western Association of Map Libraries liaison to MAGIRT.
