Kate Korgan (Graduate College) was a presenter at the Council of Graduate Schools Virtual New Deans Institute earlier this month. The institute is tailored to deans, associate deans, and assistant deans who began their roles in the past two years. In her "Managing Graduate Operations" presentation, Korgan shared the cornerstones of successful graduate operations and the importance of strategic and operational planning, staffing, systems and technology, and services that support the college mission and meet the needs of constituent groups.
