Karyn Holt and Paul Clements (both Nursing) and Susan Aldridge of Drexel University have once again published an article in the online education arena, this time tackling the topic of mental health trends and issues in online educational environments. Their article, published in the Journal for Behavioral and Social Sciences is titled, "Trends and Issues for Mental Health in Online Educational Environments." In this article, they identify the trends noted now in online classrooms with regard to the mental health of both students and faculty. Further, they address actions that can be taken when mental health issues are identified in the online environment.
