Dr. Jyoti Mago (Dental) presented a poster with Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) during the American Public Health Association meeting titled "Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and Threats Analysis of ChatGPT in Oral Health Education." The authors concluded ChatGPT has the promise to augment the oral healthcare system. However, its unsupervised application may prove to be more harmful than beneficial. There is a requirement for constructive regulatory mechanisms for its usage for the most positive impact in oral health education.
Mago was also a virtual speaker for the 5th International Conference on “Dentistry and Oral Health” held in Dubai, UAE, addressing the topic “Interesting Incidental findings from Oral Radiology practice.”
She also earned Diplomate status by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Certification by the board is one of the highest recognitions that an oral and maxillofacial radiologist can earn.
