Professors Juyeon Jo and Yoohwan Kim (both Computer Science) have received a $6,450 donation from AT&T to support the efforts of the UNLV Cyber Clinic. 

The UNLV Cyber Clinic provides valuable hands-on experience for cybersecurity students while offering small businesses free cybersecurity education and services.

Student Clinic members provide workshops and free assessments to some of the most vulnerable businesses in the local community, physically assessing their current security practices and offering recommendations based on industry best practices.

While the businesses benefit from having their vulnerabilities identified and remediated, the students get the opportunity to not only put their technical skills to the test but also build on the key soft skills future employers are looking for, including communication, presentation, and teamwork. 

This latest donation is a follow-up to AT&T’s 2023 $20,000 donation to the UNLV Cyber Clinic.
