Jungnam Kim (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) published the manuscript “The Role of School Connectedness in Mitigating the Impact of Victimization on Life Satisfaction” in the Professional School Counseling Journal.
She worked alongside colleagues to examine whether school connectedness serve as a mediator in the relationship between victimization and life satisfaction. This study highlights the important role of school connectedness as a protective factor that could mitigate the negative effect of victimization experiences on children’s life satisfaction.
