Julian Kilker (Journalism and Media Studies) recently had five photographs included in the World Health Organization (WHO) Art Gallery exhibit in Geneva, Switzerland. Contributors to the exhibit were the organization's worldwide staff, past and present. (Prior to joining UNLV, Kilker developed early field prototypes for WHO'S Health for the Elderly Program, which was designed to efficiently provide information resources in remote locations.) The photographs selected for this international audience are part of his work documenting industrial and infrastructural consequences of human activity in our environmentally fragile Mojave desert.
