Graduate students Josue Felipe Obando, Nate Boyle, and Tegist Worku (all Business) showcased their exceptional skills at the prestigious Data4Good Competition hosted by Purdue University. After winning 1st place in the regional round, the team advanced to the national stage, earning an impressive 3rd place finish. Their project, "Enhancing TAPS' Survival Journey Mapping," leveraged AI-powered tools to refine and validate the Survivor Journey Map for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), advancing the organization's mission to better support military families.
