Joshua Coleman (History), Ph.D. candidate, presented a paper titled "Jicarilla Apache, Project Gasbuggy, and the Early Years of Fracking in Indian Country" at the annual conference of the Historians of the Twentieth Century United States at the University of Southampton, in Southampton, England. Coleman's research examined the connections between United States domestic nuclear policy, federal Indian policy and natural resource extraction in New Mexico.
