Members of the Radiochemistry program were recently published in the journal Inorganic Chemistry with an article titled, "Structural Investigation of Technetium Dibutylphosphate Species Using X-ray Absorption Fine Structure Spectroscopy." 

First author, Jonathan George, is a master's student in Radiochemistry through the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Funding for the work leading to this publication was provided by DOE Office of Nuclear Energy's Nuclear Energy University Programs and the National Nuclear Security Administration by principal investigators Artem Gelis and Frederic Poineau at UNLV. Collaborators included colleagues from Hunter College and Lehman College at the City University of New York and Oregon State University.
