Joe Alvarado, Stacy Sumpter, and Kayla Sullivan (all Nursing) are graduate students who recently successfully defended their Doctor of Nursing Practice projects. They will earn their doctorate statuses when they finish their classes. Topics included:
Sullivan: “An Intervention to Improve Nurses' Knowledge, Perceived Safety, and Confidence in Identifying and Managing Workplace Violence: A Translation of Evidence into Practice”
Sumpter: “An Evaluation of Care Coordination in Reducing Depression Symptoms and Emergency Room Visits”
Alvarado: “Implementation of a Protocol in the Freestanding Emergency Department to Screen For and Identify Possible Victims of Human Trafficking”
