Jing Nong Liang (Physical Therapy) co-authored “Standing on Wedges Modifies Side-Specific Postural Control in the Presence of Lateral External Perturbations,” which investigated the role of wedges and external lateral perturbations on anticipatory and compensatory postural adjustments. This publication is part of an inter-institutional collaborative project with University of Illinois at Chicago to develop balance re-training paradigms for the elderly and individuals with neurological impairments. The article appeared in the June 20 issue of the Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology.
