Jennifer J. Reed (Sociology) appeared in a story for Earth Day, "Las Vegas Ecosexuals Married the Earth in a Nevada Wedding Ceremony." Reed's dissertation research examines the development of the ecosexual movement, including use of performance art weddings to non-human nature elements as a tactic to reframe human relationships to nature as an equal partnership. The article was published in Inverse, a media outlet that sparks curiosity about the future and aims to motivate the next generation to build a better world. She is a Ph.D. candidate.
