Jennifer J. Reed (Sociology) was featured in an Earth Day story and photo essay about performing symbolic marriage to the Earth ceremonies, The Ecosexual Movement Is Attracting New People to Environmentalism. Her dissertation research examines the development of the ecosexual movement, including use of the tactic of human wedding ceremonies to non-human nature elements to express an equal partnership. The article appeared in High Country News, a media organization that covers environmental stories that define the Western U.S. Reed is a doctoral candidate.
