Jason Flatt (Social and Behavioral Health) recently published with colleagues, “A systematic review of measures of gender and biological sex: Exploring candidates for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) research,” in Alzheimer's & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring. This research highlights current gaps in the measurement of gender in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia (ADRD) research and provides recommendations to guide future measurement of gender in ADRD research.
