Janna Bernstein (Housing and Residential Life) won the regional National Residence Hall Honorary "Advisor Of the Month" honor for February. She was selected by student representatives from states throughout the inter-mountain region. Her students nominated her, and said “As my advisor, Janna has always made me feel successful no matter the outcome... She looks to the positives and assists me with ways to improve rather than dwell on the negatives. Aside from helping me, she has also taken time to help others. It is not in her job description [to review graduate school applications]… however, she does it out of the goodness of her heart; she wants to see us all succeed... As my advisor, Janna has constantly been there for me to support me in my job, personal life, and future endeavors. I am so fortunate to have her as an advisor and I feel that her passion and dedication to the job truly earns her the award of advisor of the month.”
