Jacob Skousen and Ellianna Rodriguez (both Educational Psychology and Higher Education) presented at the 11th annual National Education Finance Academy Conference. Their presentation, "The Subtle Structure of Inequity: School Fees," included an analysis of publicly accessible data from 10 school districts in Nevada. Through the use of descriptive statistics, the findings included a description of more than a thousand school fees, many of which may be unconstitutional. These findings provide another example of the ways in which schools may structure inequity. Rodriguez is a graduate student.
