Hans Rawhouser's (Lee Business School, Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation) recent publication, "Blockchain and vulnerable entrepreneurial ecosystems," (with co-authors Silvio Vismara and Nir Kshetri) analyzes current developments and future opportunities that blockchain technology can create for vulnerable populations in six domains of entrepreneurial ecosystems (policy, finance, culture, supports, human capital, and markets). They cite several real-life examples and forge a path for future researchers to contribute to understanding the application of this new class of technologies to institutional and social problems.
