Gregory Brown, Kavita Batra, Emily Dorin, Raveena Bakhru, Andrew Han, Arianna Palermini, Robert Sottile, Sherine Khanbijian, and Michael Hower (all Medicine) co-published an article, "Comparing AIT and EFT in Reduction of Negative Emotions Associated with a Past Memory: A Randomized Control Study," in the Psychology journal.
The results of this trial suggest the equivalence of the Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), that AIT provides the same degree of robust response already documented with EFT in reducing the negative emotions associated with traumatic past experiences. This first randomized control trial (RCT) of AIT compared with a known effective treatment, EFT, provides an initial set of data to suggest that AIT demonstrates similar efficacy in the reduction of negative emotions associated with past traumatic experiences. Dr. Brown is a professor and residency training director with the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Brown and Batra are leading multiple projects related to the energy psychology and hypnotherapy.
