Gloria Wong-Padoongpatt and Aldo Barrita (both Psychology) co-authored a book chapter "Racial Microaggressions and Self-Esteem" in the recently published book The Psychology of Inequity : Motivation and Beliefs edited by the late Jean Lau Chin, Yolanda E. Garcia and Arthur W. Blume. The book chapter summarizes recent findings highlighting how racial microaggression experiences impact one's self-esteem.
