Francisco Sy (Environmental and Occupational Health) received the 2024 Lifetime Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of the Philippines Alumni Association on Aug. 17 in Manila, Philippines.
The award honors Sy for devoting five decades of his life to public health and the empowerment of communities, and for mentoring and supporting the next generation of scientists and health practitioners.
