Federick Ngo (Educational Psychology and Higher Education) was awarded a research grant of $49,995 from the Spencer Foundation for the project "Undocumented Student Achievement in Public Education." The grant will support research projects on the achievement and contribution of undocumented students in public high schools and community colleges in California. The aim of the Spencer Foundation is to fund academic work that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived. Just 10 percent of small research grant proposals are funded.
