Erika Marquez (Environmental & Occupational Health) recently was selected as a 2020 NIMHD Health Disparities Research Institute scholar. This competitive program aims to support the research career development of promising early-career minority health/health disparities research scientists, and stimulate research in the disciplines supported by health disparities science. As part of her acceptance, she will be participating in the Health Disparities Research Institute, which will be held virtually in August. NIMHD is the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
