Erica Reid (Teaching & Learning) was named the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education's  Holmes Scholar of the Month for May 2018. The Holmes Program seeks to enrich the scholarly experience and professional training of talented graduate-level students from underrepresented minority backgrounds or students with disabilities pursuing careers in education. The Holmes Scholar of the Month is chosen based on the nominee's service to their community, research, and/or advocacy activities as a representation of their commitment to diversity and equity in education.
