Emily Lapworth (Libraries) participated in a panel presentation titled “Capturing Community and Cultural Content” at the Society of California Archivists’ “The Future is Now: Digital Initiatives in the Archives” conference this summer. She discussed the University Libraries’ new scan-and-return process for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project, highlighting procedures and best practices for digitizing materials intended for eventual return to their owners.
