Dr. Christina Demopoulos (Dental) accepted an invitation to discuss the findings of “HPV Vaccine Trends and Role of the Dental Provider in HPV Vaccination: Gaps and Opportunities for Cancer Prevention” during a webinar hosted by the Texas Oral Health Coalition. The webinar shared findings from the national Oral Health Equity survey, conducted by the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, that gathered information about the human papillomavirus (HPV) and HPV vaccine relationship with oral health, vaccine recommendations by oral health providers, and the role for HPV vaccine administration among oral health providers.
