Dennis Bazylinski (Life Sciences) recently was named a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology (AAM). A total of 88 microbiologists were elected to fellowship in the AAM. Fellows of the academy are elected annually through a highly selective, peer-review process based on their record of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology. Fellows of the AAM represent all subspecialties of microbiology, including basic and applied research, teaching, public health, industry, and government service.
