David G. Schwartz (Faculty Affairs) recently delivered his public lecture as the 2020 Scholar in Residence for the Neon Museum. In "After Howard, Before the Mirage: The Early Corporate Era of Nevada Casinos and the Shifting Visual Landscape of Las Vegas," he talked about the "middle child" of Las Vegas casino history, the period between 1967 and 1988. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the talk was recorded and delivered online rather than in person.
