David G. Schwartz (Faculty Affairs) published an article called "Futures of Gaming: How Casinos and Gambling Might Evolve in the Near Future" in the June edition of Gaming Law Review. The article explores the historical forces that caused gambling to flourish within the American casino resort, and examines how gambling and casinos will continue to evolve now that the larger political and cultural context that created the casino resort has changed.
