David G. Schwartz (Ombuds) recently published an article in Gaming Law Review. Titled, “Some Measure of Control: The Evolution of Las Vegas Casino Air Junkets and Nevada Regulation, 1960-1980,” it traces the regulatory response to problems created by the lucrative but risky casino junket business, as well as examining the internal tensions that limited the sustainability of junkets as a casino marketing strategy.
