Dave Beasley and Lori Filippo (both Graduate College) gave a presentation titled “Think globally, act virtually: recruitment and admissions during the pandemic” at the 2021 NAGAP Graduate Enrollment Management Summit.

The presentation focused on how the UNLV Graduate College shifted its entire recruitment effort online within days of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Graduate College hosted 49 online recruiting events between March 30, 2020, and August 15, 2020. These events resulted in the opportunity to speak with 1,200+ potential graduate students, a 3% increase in overall graduate applications from the previous year, and a 6% increase in overall new graduate student enrollment.
