Dana Bickmore (Educational Psychology & Higher Education) and Marytza Gawlik (Florida State University) recently published the second of two edited volumes of research focused on the charter school principal, Unexplored Conditions of Charter School Principals: An Examination of the Issues and Challenges for Leaders. This second volume explores contemporary policy issues confronting charter school principals. By drawing on leadership and policy experts, the authors examine autonomy, teacher evaluation, succession and socialization, and provide reflections for the future. The first volume is The Charter School Principal: Nuanced Descriptions of Leadership.
