Cyndi Shein (Libraries) co-authored a paper, “Agility in the Archives: Translating Agile Methods to Archival Project Management,” recently published in RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Cultural Heritage. The paper emphasizes the importance of approaching archival processing projects holistically and demonstrates how agile management values and methods can support project success in disciplines outside software development. The paper was co-authored with Hannah Robinson, '16 MA History, and Hana Gutierrez, '17 BA Psychology, who were students workers in University Libraries Special Collections and Archives. The two graduates were featured on the cover of the printed issue of the journal. Gutierrez now is in Guyana serving in Peace Corps.
