Cory Tucker (Libraries) was inducted as a member of UNLV chapter 100 of the honor society Phi Kappa Phi. Highly selective and prestigious, Phi Kappa Phi is recognized by graduate and professional schools as well as employers. It is the only national honor society that recognizes excellence in scholarship in all fields of study. Tucker's tenure at UNLV Libraries began in 2001 as the business librarian. In 2007 he became head of collection management, responsible for the administration and coordination of acquisitions, collection development, and interlibrary loan activity. He also provides oversight of the Libraries' collections budget and serves at the primary contact for publishers and vendors. Additionally, he leads statewide coordination efforts through the Nevada Council of Academic Libraries.
