Chyna Miller and Eric Mason (both Academic Success Center) presented at the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) National Annual Conference in early November. Their presentation, "Knowing Your Own Backyard": Applying Pareto's Principle to Learning Support Services," featured a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the campuswide tutoring program in relation to the economic concept of Pareto's Principle, better known as the "80-20 Rule." Additionally, Mason was honored at the conference as the sole recipient of the CRLA Graduate Student Registration Fee Award.
