Christopher D.E. Willoughby (Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) and his recent book "Masters of Health: Racial Science and Slavery in U.S. Medical School" were quoted in a December 3rd article in the Washington Post, entitled "How U.S. institutions took an African teen’s life, then lost his remains." The article traces life and death of a South African indigenous teenager named Sturmann Yanghis whose remains were collected and lost by a Harvard University museum. Willoughby details Yanghis's life story and collection in his book.
