Chelsea Heinbach, Cory Lampert, Cory Tucker, and Jason Vaughan (all Libraries) recently presented papers at the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
Heinbach's paper, "Methodological Approaches for Exploring Visual Literacy Practices," was co-authored with Krystyna K. Matusiak from the University of Denver, and provides a review of the research methodology from studies on visual literacy that were published in academic journals between 2011 and 2017.
Lampert and Vaughan presented "Preparing to Preserve: Three Essential Steps to Building Experience with Long-Term Digital Preservation," which examines UNLV Libraries strategically built experience in the preservation of unique digital assets by utilizing a collaborative team approach.
Tucker's paper, "New Perspectives in Collection Assessment: Flexible, Customized Delivery of Collection Evaluation Data," was co-authored with Reeta Sinha from Springer Nature. It examines the role of subject librarians and liaisons in collection assessment and evaluation.
