Cross & Sheniz Moonie (Epidemiology & Biostatistics); two former School of Public Health graduate students (Julia Anderson and Karen Gutierrez); current graduate student (Jacklynn De Leon), and colleagues from the University of Missouri published "Rural-Urban Continuum as a Potential Geographic Correlate of Breast and Prostate Cancer Mortality: A Case Study of Nevada, USA" in the Nevada Journal of Public Health. This paper examined purported differences in metro, urban, and rural counties to examine potential shifts in mortality as counties change geographic designation through time.
