Congratulations to the entire faculty from UNLV's Radiography program for participating in the 50th annual conference for the Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) in Las Vegas. Chad Hensley, Director of the Radiography program, gave the conference's keynote address that included more than 900 students and faculty in attendance from around the country. Hensley gave the Charles Jacobi Memorial lecture, named after the founder of ACERT, who also served as the director of UNLV’s Radiography from 1967-81. UNLV hosted the first ACERT conference in 1975.
Faculty members Heidi Shelton and Chrissie Choa also presented at the annual conference and adjunct professor Michael Tarby represented UNLV by presenting at the Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists conference.
