Chad Cross (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) was appointed by the administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to serve as a subject matter expert on the Human Studies Review Board (HSRB), a federal committee that operates in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act to review and comment on proposed and completed research studies involving exposure to pesticides. The HSRB reports to the EPA administrator through EPA's science advisor and provides advice, information, and recommendations to the EPA on issues related to scientific and ethical aspects of human subjects research.
