Candace Burton (Nursing) is co-author of the recent publication, "How do the Social Determinants of Health Impact the Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19: A Critical Review," included in a special issue of the Nursing Clinics of North America. The results of this review indicate that experiences of discrimination and the stress associated with them contributed to worsened and longer lasting symptoms of the Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC) or long COVID.
