Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute are in charge of The Data Hub, a collaborative project that now contains more than 100 Fact Sheets and interactive resources prepared by faculty, staff, and student researchers.
Launched in early 2020, The Data Hub is a resource for current and historical public policy data on Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Mountain West region. The Data Hub provides researchers, students, faculty, policymakers, legislators, and the public with electronic access to data and information on a wide range of public policy topics.
Browse data within 11 collections relating to: cities & metros, criminal justice, demography, economic development & workforce, elections & governance, environment, health, higher education, housing & real estate, K-12 education, and transportation & infrastructure.
In addition to fact sheets, The Data Hub also features select interactive data visualizations. The health collection displays data on global health expenditures, U.S. health insurance coverage, and state-level health rankings. Additionally, the higher education collection offers interactive and pre-generated data visualizations for earned doctorates, R&D expenditures, and total graduate enrollment within UNLV and UNR and peer academic institutions.
