Barbara St. Pierre Schneider (Nursing) accepted an invitation to become a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. The fellowship is one of the profession’s most prestigious honors and recognizes outstanding contribution and achievements in nursing. The academy’s nearly 2,500 fellows are nursing leaders in education, management, practice, and research. Fellows represent association executives; university presidents, chancellors, and deans; state and federal political appointees; hospital chief executives; and vice presidents for nursing; nurse consultants; and researchers and entrepreneurs.
