Dr. Banveet Kaur (Medicine) published her manuscript, “Artificial Intelligence Trumps TAVI2-SCORE and CoreValve Score in Predicting 1-year Mortality Post Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement” in the Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine Journal. This study of 1,055 patients utilized the Gradient Boosting Machine learning (GBM) prediction model, which outperformed the contemporary risk prediction models TAVI2-SCORE and CoreValve Score in predicting mortality one-year post transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
