Aya Shata (Journalism and Media Studies) and Kendall Hartley (Education) published an article, "Artificial intelligence and communication technologies in academia: faculty perceptions and the adoption of generative AI," at the International Journal of Educational Technology on Higher Education. The study explores higher education faculty’s perceptions, attitudes, usage, and motivations, as the underlying factors that influence their adoption or rejection of GenAI tools.
