Drs. Awad Javaid and Chowdhury Ahsan (both Medicine) recently co-authored a manuscript, "Anterior-Posterior versus anterior-lateral electrodes position for electrical cardioversion of atrial fibrillation: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials," in International Journal of Cardiology Heart and Vasculature. The analysis showed no difference between anterior-posterior and anterior-lateral electrode positions in the success rate of direct current cardioversion of atrial fibrillation.
