Austin Horng-En Wang (Political Science) co-authored the article "Exploring Attitudes Toward “Sugar Relationships” Across 87 Countries: A Global Perspective on Exchanges of Resources for Sex and Companionship" in Archives of Sexual Behavior. This article collects survey from 87 countries and 110,000 respondents to examine explanatory factors driving their attitude toward exchanges of resources for sex and/or companionship. The result shows that gender inequality, traditional gender role, and parasite stress all contribute to the formation of attitude toward sugar relationships.
