Austin Horng-En Wang (Political Science) published a co-authored article, "Media literacy and partisan convergence across social network sites" in the Social Science Journal. This article argues that people with different partisanship tend to rely on different social media; this tendency, therefore, influences the spread of misinformation as well as the effectiveness of fact-check about politics. The hypotheses are supported by a survey conducted before the 2020 Taiwan presidential election.
